Certificates awarded to trainees from the Administrative Officers’ Short Course Programme
Another cohort of the Administrative Officers’ Short Course Programme received their certificates at our centres in Fort Portal and Tororo on 11th November 2023.
Ms. Racheal Kigozi, faculty at Makerere University School of Law (SoL) and Counsel Honest, Center Coordinator – Fort Portal, officiated the ceremony held in Fort Portal.
In remarks delivered on behalf of Dr. Patricia Atim Odong – Programme Coordinator, she thanked all duty bearers who work so hard, led by the Short Course Committee Chair and Head-Public and Comparative Law at SoL, Dr. Benson Tusasirwe.
About the Short Course:
Administrative Officers’ Law Short Course is offered by the School of Law, Makerere University leading to the award of a Certificate in Administrative Law. The duration of study is 2months and the minimum admission requirement is A ‘Level certificate or its equivalent. This is recognized by the Public Service Commission for purposes of entry, confirmation and promotion of administrative cadres of staff. Training is conducted at Makerere University for the Kampala Centre and in a number of outreach stations in Arua, Jinja, Mukono, Tororo, Masaka, Hoima, Gulu, Lira, Mbale, Soroti, Luweero, Kiboga, Kiryandongo, Mbarara, Kabale, Rukungiri, Kyenjojo and Fort Portal.
