Lecturer
Dr. Muhwezi Mpanga joined the Law School in 2001 and is attached to the Department of Commercial Law. She teaches Labour Law, the Law of Torts, Environmental Law and the Law of the World Trade Organisation.
She has researched extensively on socio-economic rights such as access to water and sanitation services; access to social services and the interaction between social services and electoral politics; employment rights and environmental rights.
She was a beneficiary of the Cambridge Commonwealth Scholarship Fund (2001-2002) and for the Alistair Berkly Charitable Trust (2011-2015). She is currently a Board member of Kituo Cha Katiba and the coordinator of the Business Law Clinic, a pilot project of the Department of Commercial Law.
