Moot With Judges From Constitutional Court

The Constitutional Court led by the DCJ Alfonse Owiny-Dollo earlier today conducted a moot court at the Makerere University School of Law. A moot court is  a session in which Law students  at the University mimick what would have taken place in a  court of law. The exercise is intended to guide students on the basic practices of their profession and to have a feel of a courtroom before graduation.

It all started with an inspection  of a Guard of Honour that was mounted by the Uganda Police for the DCJ and some Law dons. The other members on the panel were Hon. Justices: Remmy Kasule, Cheborion Barishaki, Hellen Obura and Deputy Registrar, HW Agnes Nkonge. Compiled by Ritah Mukundane
