MakRUN 2024

Makerere University Endowment Fund is thrilled to announce the 4th edition of the MakRun, scheduled to take place on Sunday, 18th August 2024, at Freedom Square. This year, we are running for a noble cause: raising funds to construct a dedicated student center and a disability support unit at Makerere University.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the colleges and units that have already made pledges and contributions. Your generosity and commitment are immensely appreciated. We especially thank those who have purchased running kits for students with disabilities, demonstrating your dedication to making Makerere University an inclusive learning environment.

For those who haven’t yet joined this noble initiative, we invite you to be a part of it. We welcome financial donations, in-kind support for the Disability Support Unit, and the purchase of kits for staff and students.

Running kits are available for UGX 20,000 each. Your participation and contributions will significantly impact the lives of our students, particularly those with special needs. Let’s come together and make a difference!
