Bakibinga Recognised for Service and Leadership to Makerere University
Professor David Justin Bakibinga was recognised by Makerere University Council for his service and leadership to Makerere University. A certificate and plaque were handed to him by Mrs. Lorna Magara – Chairperson Council, Makerere University at a breakfast meeting held on 17th March 2023 at Serena Hotel, Kampala.
At the colourful function hosted by the Chairperson of Council, Mrs. Lorna Magara former top university leaders were honoured for their selfless contribution to the growth and impact of Makerere University.
Categories of Top University leaders honoured included: Former Chancellors, Chairpersons of Council, Vice Chairpersons of Council, Vice Chancellors and Deputy Vice Chancellors.

Professor Bakibinga is a Professor of Commercial Law at School of Law, Makerere University; he served as Deputy Vice Chancellor – Finance and Administration from 2004 to 2009.
