Mak School of Law Students Excel at Inaugural Arbitration Moot
Makerere University School of Law (SoL) Students excelled at the Inaugural Moot Competition held on the 17th and 18th November, 2022 at Strathmore University, Nairobi Kenya. The students emerged 3rd out of the 12 universities that participated. The competition which was by invitation of regional universities was organised by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators – Kenya Chapter.
The SoL Team comprised of 4 members i.e., Ms. Keisha Galabuzi – LLB Year II, Ms. Esther Kisakye Mwebaze – LLB Year II, Mr. Benjamin Emor LLB Year III, and Mr. Calvin Obita LLB Year II. Congratulations!
Ms. Esther Kisakye Mwebaze won the prize of 2nd best overall orator of the Moot Competition.
The team met the Ag. Principal – School of Law, Dr. Ronald Naluwairo (Associate Professor) on Monday 21st November, 2022 to handover the trophies and certificates won at the competition. Dr. Naluwairo congratulated the team and thanked them for flying the Makerere University flag high.
