This includes courses taught under the Bachelor of Laws programme; the Master of Laws; and the research under Doctor of Laws. This list of courses covers the following: The Law of Contract; Labour Law; Intellectual Property law; Business Associations; Revenue Law and Taxation; Computers & the Law (Cyber Law); Law of Insolvency; Corporate Governance; Insurance Law & Practice; Banking & Negotiable Instruments, and; the Law on International Economic Institutions (IMF & World Bank). Through this department, students at the School of Law are exposed to various courses that provide both theoretical and practical exposure into how the law intersects with matters of commerce. The Department also oversees the Business Law Clinic (BLC) which was established in 2019.
