DRGT calls for application to train in Scholarly Writing and Qualitative Research methods

DRGT, Makerere University observed that our PhD students find themselves in a highly diverse and competitive research landscape. To successfully navigate their career paths, transferable skills in the areas of communication, (self)-organisation, and interpersonal relationships are essential. We believe that these skills can be acquired and, furthermore, developed. We now call for applications of the two modules that will enable the students to productively deal with challenges related to the writing skills and interpersonal aspects of the studies. Actually, the cross-cutting modules provide a new model of postgraduate training. They retain the depth, rigour and focus of a conventional PhD while also providing a broader training experience. Nb: The other Course in Information Competency & Management is currently ongoing in the Main Library attended by over 50 participants (in-person and online).
