266 Graduate from the School of Law in 2017, The Makerere University’s 67th Graduation Ceremony that ran from the 21st to the 24th of February saw a total of 14,897 students awarded degrees and diplomas out of which 266 were from the School of Law including one Doctor of Laws by Joseph Murangira.

The 25th African Human Rights Moot Court Competition

The final round of the 25th African Human Rights Moot Court Competition was held at the Constitutional Court of South Africa on Saturday 8 October 2016. The finalist teams consisted of the top Francophone, top Lusophone and two top Anglophone teams who emerged from the preliminary rounds that were held on 3 and 4 October.

Mr. Godard Busingye successfully defends his Phd Thesis

    Mr. Godard Busingye successfully defended his PhD thesis before a panel of academicians during a public defence held at the School of Law yesterday. Busingye becomes the second LLD Student in the history of the School of Law following Professor Ben Twinomugisha who was the pioneer LLD student at the Law School Makerere University.
